Our Approach

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Albert Einstein

Many children and (young) adults with autism are used to talking about what they can NOT do; that their inabilities prevent them from participating (properly) in society. This makes them feel like an outsider. Their self-image crumbles and with it their conviction that they can take care of themselves and function in a society that often sees them as ‘apart’.

A-Talent focuses on what a person can do and encourages him or her to develop further, to grow. But people who have doubts about their talent or, indeed, think they don’t even have talent, can come to us just as well. We organize inspiring activities, both online and offline, and through our community they can learn from each other’s experiences. Sparring with like-minded souls.

Not everyone’s talent is equally developed and, of course, one talent is not another. There is nothing wrong with that, by the way. A-Talent vindt het wel belangrijk om altijd eerlijke feedback te geven en een passende begeleiding te bieden. With us, no one-size-fits-all.

Our offer

Everyone who enrolls with us can count on the following:

Top talents

We have a special offer for top talents. They are chosen by an independent committee. The top talents receive customized support from us. Think
In doing so, for example:

Because A-Talent depends on donors and sponsors, the level of support naturally depends on our available resources. In addition, we also pay attention to ensuring that there is a balance of talents in the different talent categories that we use. No rights can be derived from our support.
